A standard bernedoodle is a mix between two breeds: bernese mountain dog and the poodle. Not only can it be the pairing of a bernese mountain dog and a poodle, but it can also be a mix of a poodle and a bernedoodle, bernese and a bernedoodle or even a bernedoodle and another bernedoodle. We love genetics! No matter the pairing, they typically inherit traits from both parent breeds. We absolutely adore bernedoodles because of their intelligence, loyalty, and gentle temperament. An f1 bernedoodle is a cross between a bernese mountain dog and a poodle.
What is an F1b Standard Bernedoodle?
An F1b Bernedoodle is a cross between a Poodle and an F1 Bernedoodle. The result is an F1b Bernedoodle, which is ¾ Poodle. A lot of the time these puppies may have more of a curly coat.
What is a Reverse F1b Standard Bernedoodle?
A Reverse F1b Bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Bernedoodle. The result is a Reverse F1b Bernedoodle, which is ¾ Bernese Mountain Dog. Some of these are furnished and some are unfurnished. We genetic test these litters so we know for sure who is furnished and who is unfurnished from a young age.
What is an Ultra Bernedoodle?
An Ultra Bernedoodle is furnished and has more bernese than the poodle. The term “furnishings” refers to the long hair on the extremities of the dog including the head and tail. Most of the time they are fluffy and more of a straight coat.
