Meet Oliver, the Police Therapy Dog at the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department

Meet Oliver, a registered therapy dog for the Hamilton County Sheriff's department who recently celebrated his 2nd birthday. It's an absolutely honor to watch our puppies grow up to do incredible things!

Oliver has been such a blessing since he joined the force and we're so proud. Enjoy watching his journey unfold!

Oliver the Police Therapy Dog

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office shared on Facebook: "*Drumroll Please* We are so excited to introduce K9 Oliver, our newest addition to the HCSO family! K9 Oliver and his handler, Deputy Robert Kirchner, are part of the Wellness team. Deputy Kirchner brings 27 years of experience to this important role, and K9 Oliver has been thoroughly trained to provide support to officers in our agency. They will provide K9 Therapy across all divisions."

Oliver the Police Therapy Dog Visits Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney's Office

Oliver is a bernedoodle who joined the Sheriff's Office in November of 2023. He is the first therapy K-9 at the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office."

Summer Update on Oliver

At the end of June in 2024 we received this sweet text: "Hi everyone, I just wanted to send some cute pictures of Oliver. He is doing amazing work! I recently rode with officers from our department starting in New Jersey and ending in Washington DC over four days completing 300 hundred miles riding for the fallen officers. The morning of the press conference Oliver felt that he needed to participate 😁💙"

Therapy Canine Training

On June 25th, 2024 we received word that Oliver was beginning his therapy canine training!

July 1st, 2024 we got word that Oliver completed his training!! "Congratulations to our boy who completed training and was noted as being a natural!"

Looking to Bring Home Your Own Furbaby?

Looking for a bernedoodle for sale? They come in a few different sizes. We have micro mini bernedoodles for sale, standard bernedoodle for sale, and cavapoo puppies for sale as well. Micros are the smallest ranging from about 15-30lbs. but since they have bernese in there lineage, it's not something we can 100% guarantee, which is why we added cavapoos.

Cavapoo puppies are very similiar to the bernedoodle in their personalities, but can stay smaller. Minis have a larger range from 18-45lbs. Then standards are generally 45-115. These size ranges are honestly great estimates, but to truly know the estimated size of your puppy, we would love to tell you about their parents! Each litters parents will tell you a lot more about the size range. Not to mention, we specifically have families pick at 6/7 weeks that way we can tell you all about their personalties as well as which pups in the litter are tracking on the larger or smaller size, depending on what size you're hoping for.
